In Class - Energy Source Presentation

• Create a short presentation (ppt, google presentation, prezi, your choice) on the energy source you chose yesterday. (Each group is different)
• Keep it short and sweet. Give us basics. How does it work? Pros/Cons? Infrastructure needs?
• Give credit for pictures you use, tiny text below them, nothing fancy. Details on the 1.2.1 handout.
• Work with your partner(s) and use the 1.2.1 checklist to improve the presentation. Who's going to say what? Everyone speaks.
• Post your presentations on ITS when finished. We present tomorrow, Wednesday, unless we drop, I don't have a schedule in front of me, but you'll figure it out.

HW Friday, 10-18 Conclusion Qs and Teammate Evals

DUE MONDAY NIGHT (end of day)

• Teammate Evaluations - one for yourself and each partner (4 total)
• 1.1.6 Conclusion Questions - 5 Qs about the project answered on Its Learning (linked on the bulletin, front page)

DUE TUESDAY (end of day)

• Interview Transcript - post the transcript of the interview, Qs and As.  If you record the audio, post the mp3.  This is just evidence that you have conducted the interview.  You'll get a rubric for the final reflection next week.

Who are you interviewing?

Don't forget to post your interviewee on the Interviewee Background forum by the end of the day tomorrow.  We just need name, title, who they work for, etc.  Very basic information even if you haven't conducted the actual interview yet.

Professional Interview

What career fields, engineering flavors, or particular jobs interest you?
What businesses or professional organizations would offer potential interviewees?
Seek out a professional in your area of interest and ask if you can interview them.  Interviews may be conducted by phone, in person, or by email. Leave the person ample time if responding by email. Remember, they have plenty of other deadlines to meet and work to do.  He or she can be someone you know, but try to find someone in your area of interest.

Three basic parts:

1. Tuesday, 10-8:  Choose interviewee and post it on the interviewee background forum.
2. Tuesday, 10-22:  Conduct the interview and post the recording or transcript on Its Learning
3. Tuesday, 10-29:  Write a reflection and submit it on Its Learning
