Professional Interview

What career fields, engineering flavors, or particular jobs interest you?
What businesses or professional organizations would offer potential interviewees?
Seek out a professional in your area of interest and ask if you can interview them.  Interviews may be conducted by phone, in person, or by email. Leave the person ample time if responding by email. Remember, they have plenty of other deadlines to meet and work to do.  He or she can be someone you know, but try to find someone in your area of interest.

Three basic parts:

1. Tuesday, 10-8:  Choose interviewee and post it on the interviewee background forum.
2. Tuesday, 10-22:  Conduct the interview and post the recording or transcript on Its Learning
3. Tuesday, 10-29:  Write a reflection and submit it on Its Learning

Back to School Night!

HW Wednesday, 9-18

Continue working  on the simple machine practice problems.  Its Learning has a quiz to check your answers (numerical, not the work).  All work should be in your engineering notebook. 

Tomorrow you'll have a chance to ask questions and correct mistakes.  You have the opportunity to demonstrate responsibility.  Finish the problems in enough time (before the end of the period) to check your answers and ask questions.
